der songtext

We’re born into the night like children of the damned
Our pain will shine a light to those who understand

Born into the night!
Pain will shine our light!

(Whoa whoa)
Sink your teeth into forever
(Whoa whoa)
Sunlight burns children surrender

An exorcise of life to cut beneath our hands
Like souls who missed their plight, we’ll bleed along the sand

Born into the night!
Pain will shine our light!

(Whoa whoa)
Sink your teeth into forever
(Whoa whoa)
Sunlight burns children surrender

(Sink your teeth into forever)

(Whoa whoa)
Sink your teeth into forever
(Whoa whoa)
Sunlight burns children surrender

Hier also die Lyrics=)

:________________________________

Alone at last, we can sit and fight.
And I’ve lost all faith in this blurring light,
But stay right here we can change our plight.
We’re storming through this despite what’s right.

One final fight, for this tonight.
Woah…
With knives and pens we made our plight.

Lay your heart down the ends in sight.
Conscience begs for you to do what’s right.
Everyday it’s still the same dull knife,
Stab it through and justify your pride.

One final fight, for this tonight.
Woah…
With knives and pens we made our plight.
Woah…
And I can’t go on without your love, you lost, you never held on.
We tried out best… Turn out the light,
Turn out the light.

One final fight, for this tonight.
Woah…
With knives and pens we made our plight.
Woah…
And I can’t go on without your love, you lost, you never held on.
We tried out best… Turn out the light,
Turn out the light.

Lyrics to Thank God (Emocore):

I used to make believe that I was happy every day

And even though I smiled, my own eyes gave me away

I used to be ashamed of who I used to be

My whole damn life I lied and pretended to believe

I never understood it's optional to live life free

And didn't think that anyone could love me unconditionally

I was afraid to get too close to anybody

And all the time I complained that nobody knew the real me

With one look, you reminded me

Of the little girl I used to be

With one look you reminded me of that little girl

The bed is wet with cider that we spilled

Our dreams are in a shoebox filled with stolen dollar bills

I told him to go nowhere they took him away instead

On the phone to him his smiling face still in my head

There's nothing else I need to look for now that you found me

So f- this world that tries to negate our serendipity

And if there ever came a time they tried to take you away

I'd sacrifice myself for you so that you could stay

I'm not looking

Not looking anymore

For the missing piece inside of me

I'm not looking

Not looking anymore

For that missing piece

And I don't listen anymore to the voices in my head

So fix  this world that tries to negate our serendipity

And if there ever came a time they tried to take you away

I'd sacrifice myself for you so that you could stay

I'm not looking

Not looking anymore

For the missing piece inside of me

I'm not looking

Not looking anymore

For that missing piece

And I don't listen anymore to the voices in my head

I imagine you when I was distant

Non-insistent

I follow suit and laid out on my back Imagine that

A million hours left to think of you

And think of that

Calm down, I'm calling you to say

I'm capsized, erring on the edge of safe

Calm down, I'm calling back to say

I'm home now

And coming around, coming around
